Eligibility:
Fulltime/ permanent English faculty of public sector colleges and universities, teaching English at the graduate and post graduate level, under the age of 50, with minimum 16 years of education, with at least one year experience of teaching English as a subject, are eligible for the fellowships. Already enrolled candidates fulfilling the criteria and studying in the specified programs may also apply for the fellowships. They will get funding only for the remaining period of their study.

Eligibility:
-Applicants must hold a Norwegian Master’s degree in Law or equivalent. The purpose of the fellowship is research training leading to the successful completion of a PhD degree.
-The candidate’s grades, the project description, and the applicant’s personal qualifications will be taken into consideration in the evaluation of the applications.
- A final project plan will eventually be developed in close cooperation with the chair of the Natural Resources Law Group Hans Chr. Bugge and other members of the group.
-Some knowledge of law-and-economics/environmental economics is desirable.

Scholarship Description: The Faculty of Law, University of Oslo, announces a position for a PhD student attached to the Resource Group in Natural Resources Law. The group’s activities are multidisciplinary and cover research in international, European and national law on natural resources, energy, the environment and property, including law and economics. The PhD position is included in the project ”Preventing environmental effects of products through producer responsibility”. This is a new project funded by The Research Council of Norway, with start up in the autumn 2011. The project aims to get new insight and build general academic competence in the increasingly important field of producers’ and importers’ responsibility for the environmental effects of their products. This is a wide research field internationally within both environmental law and trade law, as well as environmental economics. The project will have a broad perspective and develop close links with international research in the field. The project has formal international partners at four European universities.
